Vanilla Twilight ;
Yume wasn’t used to apologizing to someone before, thus the reasons for the double gift giving. As the young man spoke to the awkward female, she couldn’t help by smile and laugh slightly. “I think you know very well what I’m saying.” She sighed, lightly flicking his forehead as she scurried her way out of the library and back to class before people start asking questions.
Getting back, the once bustling room became quite silent again, their attentions focusing on the blonde, whispers now being passes from one person to the next. As much as the young female wanted to ask why they were giving her such weird eyes, she stayed quiet and quickly sat herself down in her seat, happy to see that nothing had happened to her bag or desk.

As the bell went signalling another school day over, Yume was quick to pack up her books and quickly brought herself out of the once thick-aired classroom. From the corner of her blue eyes she saw his figure, clearly on the way to the library. A slight laugh overcame her as she decided to go the opposite way, towards the back of the school where all the sport teams practiced.
Yume seemed to have taken a liking in baseball.
Hidaka Yume, walking towards the baseball diamond, felt the wind through her hair, adding a golden hue to her already vibrent hair. Holding it back so it wouldn’t go anywhere, the shy girl took up refuge behind a large tree. Why? Not only did it provide the perfect amount of sun, but it also allowed people to not know she was there, therefore saving her from many of the other formalities.
The blonde simply stood behind the try, hands holding on to the trunk, head peering out from one side as she examined the game, her eyes almost sparkling as she watched everyone run around as a team, laughing and smiling.
His grey eyes widened at, possibly, the blonde’s first ever initiated gesture that signify her increasing comfort zone with the young man. The flick of the finger was light, barely inflicting any pain, but somehow it still manage to leave grey eye all wide eyed, cheeks a blush and movements stopping at a freeze.
The blonde scurried past him with a giggle of a smile, probably happy that she turned the teasing table on him for once, as oppose to having him have the upper hand at normal circumstances. The young man’s actions were a few seconds delayed by the immobilization of his anatomy, managing to call out to her only as she left the Library, leaving his words to bounce of the door she shut behind her.
A brief moments as his fingers came up to his forehead, hoping he can retrace the feel of the tiny digit that reprimanded him earlier. A slight chuckle as his eyes gently flutter a shut, as he ran his hand through his hair, sighing in slight defeat. Really.
“What am I going to do with you?”

The rest of the learning periods came and went almost in the blink of an eye after that. The grey eyes hardly remembered what the lessons were about, the conversations thrown in between or whether he actually ate lunch after meeting the Blonde, but the moment the bell rang, his smokey orbs snap back lively as he packed his things to head for the library, hoping he can meet the Blue Eyes for one last time for the day.
Though much to his dismay, his visit to the library was fruitless. He lavished book after book, hoping with ever sound of the opening door that it was a certain timid Blonde girl, only to be let down every time to see that he was mistaken. Instinct beckons him to try elsewhere for a sighting of the girl, so her classroom was the best bet for now.
Again, a disappointed revelation. The dolly blue eyes was nowhere to be found, much to his dismay. Hand rummage through his hair in slight frustration as he started to leave for home, all the while reasoning in his head that she probably left early to avoid today’s incident from spreading or something to that context.
Heading out towards the School gate however, a slight sparkling of a tint caught his eye, just a few yards ahead of him from the Baseball Club’s Practice Space. A slight feeling of hope rose inside him, hoping that it was who he think it was. But a slight moment to realize that if it is her, what exactly was she doing “spying” on the Baseball Team like that? A chuckle as he quietly went around the back, hoping to ask her for himself.
——-
The closer he approached that golden tint of a color, the more he was convinced that it was who he was looking all day. Upon closer inspection, he also saw a wide smile across her lips, her cheeks flushed in excitement as she silently cheered on the Practice Game that was going on not to far in front of them. He had to contain his increasingly blushing face with a hand over the lower half of his face, gazing to the side momentarily with a slight “C-Cute..!” gasp in his mind. Turning his gaze once again towards the girl, he couldn’t help but smile gently at the sight before him. He was glad that this afternoon’s incident didn’t seem to bother the Blonde after she left the library.
“So…. what exactly are we doing here?” a whisper to the Blonde as he sat next to her, much to the surprise of the Blonde.
