Hearing the sudden voice ask her a question caused her to yelp in shock. Yume’s now golden-blue eyes widened as she fell to the ground, backing away from the sudden figure next to her. Her hands immediately went to her chest, trying to calm her beating heart down. Seeing Aries after school was not something she had planned for. The girl from 3-A was completely content to simply watch from afar, observing the game, maybe even learn a few things that she could use for her gym class tomorrow. ‘Damn it blonde hair,’ she thought to herself, ‘you always give me away.’ 

Her body wouldn’t move, she simply sat there, curled up within herself, looking at Aries. Realizing what had happened however, caused her to divert her eyes quickly, coughing once to regain her composure. “Nothing. Why would I be doing anything?” She asked him, almost stringing the words together she spoke them so quickly. “I was…” Yume couldn’t afford to pause, she quickly grabbed her school bag from beside him, returning to her position away from him as she grabbed a book from her bag. “I was reading. See? Reading! It’s easier to read outside, you know.” What a bad lie. He knew she was an introvert who spend all her time locked up indoors, why would she even bother coming outside where people could see her? The book came immediately up to cover her face before her eyes peaked out from the top of the book, giving him one last look to see if he bought it.

Another gasp left her lips at the sight of him staring at her however, the book coming back up to hide her face as she looked back towards the Baseball Team and their practice, particularly to the pitcher. The blue orbs observed as he twisted his baseball cap to the back of his head, the small sweat that came off his face as he wound up his shot before letting it go straight for the batter at an unbelievable speed. Was he in Aries’ class?

The sound that the bat made when it came in contact with the ball was soothing to the blonde’s ears, her blonde hair resting on the curves of her figure. Maybe one day she too could make the bat sing that noise too. At the realization of Aries still sitting away from her, a feeling of stuttering overcame her lips. “W-What are you doing here?” She asked, trying to keep her ‘cool’ tone up. 

A teasing smile grazed his lips at the Blonde’s reaction. She may be great at a lot of things but lying… is definitely not a trait she could even come close to performing. He simply silently observing her failure to demonstrate a straight face as she came up with somewhat ridiculous attempts to prove to him that she wasn’t observing the Baseball Club’s game.

A slight smile at her lashing inquiry. “Huh..me?” his grey eyes gazing at her with a smile. “Ah I was—”

Wait. Maybe… it wasn’t best for him to tell her that he was at the library, waiting for her and out of dismay of a Yume-less Library, he was going to drag his feet home in disappointment. A slight ponder before he changed his words.

“I was heading home when I saw a certain Blue-eyed Blonde in the bushes, stalking Hiroshima-Senpai of the Baseball Club.” a teasing hint to his grin as he gazed at the flusttering girl.

His grey eyes twinkled slightly as he added another sentence of a tease to poke fun at the blonde at. Revenge for the unknowingly tease that she gave his heart today by not showing up at the Library maybe?

“He does have a large number of girls falling for the whole Baseball Star, Cool Guy thing but, I didn’t know he was your type, Yume-chan.”
